Dunno what the tyre on the back business was, they've done what I asked. Fair enough. I am a happy customer of Nor_auto!

Nice sidewall.

I'd love to have heard the conversation between the French tyre fitters about Le Rostbif and his efforts to repatriate one of their brown classics to The Isle of Salt. Were they intrigued or just keen on getting home and drinking some red?

Good work, and money well spent there.

Slight disappoint that Mutha_Bo11ox didn't have any spare 13" wheels and tyres knocking about...

Just totted up me overall average fuel consumption for the 1250km done so far. It's coming out at 55mpg. I'm not sure if I believe that tbh but I've checked it twice. Maybe I've written something down wrong.

I think he was referring to the walnut shell in the previous post.

Bet youre wondering how much this adventure is all costing. I am too, i havent added it up yet. I had in mind that the car cost €1200 and everything else adds up to probably about the same again. I feel I might have underestimated it a bit though. I will have a tot-up when I am home and can see what my credit card and bank statements look like. Will give you a cost breakdown then.

Am you going for EU VAT refund on stuff bought in EU then exported out of EU?

Have you treated* your mum to a trip out in this fine automobile?

Yeah and she declared it a winner, super comfy and very cute. Then I took hers for a blezz:

Accounting might be the more hazardous part of the adventure pilgrim
