im still trying to decide if i can get someone to feed the animals, then find a hotel or something as it would be a overnighter as i dont feel i would get the best of it with best part of 4 hrs drive each way! then theres which car to bring, neither are terribly exciting the audi is in rather good nick for its mileage and the ford is pretty insane low mileage but needs a little bit of bodywork tidying... may just have to wait for rustival north....

It's not that far really, definitely doable in a day.  I have commuted it a couple of times.

theres the thing, the audi would be the most comfortable, but i think the fusion would be a bit more fun, as its almost pov spec, but its not really got long legs! so think 4 ish hrs in that id be buggered

Is anyone after a display ticket for this?  I still can't get the Dacia to start and don't want to put the Focus (or even worse the Corsa) on display.

I contemplated trying to fix the 405 but have very little spare time at the moment.

Bear in mind if you have an £11 ticket, you need a pass to enter the show or it's likely the museum will demand an extra fiver to not be in the show (not our rule).

We genuinely do not mind if you bring a daily.

take the harley* davidson*? (I would say Borrow REV from Red5, but I dont think she is quite ready yet unless your good at replacing kingpins!)

Also out of MOT sadly although it does still work.  Not ideal for taking Miss Cats with me either (although slightly better than REV).

don't fancy risking the XM or the Favorit as they have been sat too long and I like to have a few short runs before a long run in an older car but can't be paying £12.50 every time so going to bring the C180k daily

yeah they definitely would. I'm just a bit nervous of driving 5 hours in either of them especially seen as both have issues and no running.

I'm well up for that but said I'd meet him there at 9.  If you're running early enough I can meet you wherever is convenient and chuck you some fuel money.
