Achieved a MPG record by pulling away in 3rd up to 50 or so then switching off and coasting down to 15 or so before repeating the process.

Don't know what the figures were but I do know where the car went afterwards 

Shame I got rid of all my 60s onwards car mags, there was some interesting stuff in there.

Can't find anything related to that MPG attempt or what happened to Barry Lee's Escort (he's had a few)
