Judging by the rear window mod, I suspect that HB was customised for the first time in the 1970's as that was popular back then. I'd love to see it how it was back then. Hopefully it had some chrome appliance four spokes, a jack up kit plus a metalflake paintjob. And maybe a 6ft whip aerial 8)

I quite like the Viva in a way. It gives off the same sort of nostalgic vibes as seeing a totally standard classic.I remember a girlfriend when I was at junior school who's dad owned a sweet shop AND a very modified Mk1 Cortina. All wacky Batman-esque fins at the back with no doubt a large amount of Plastic Padding and the obligatory blacked out windows. I think it's actually nice to know that modified cars have survived in their original guise, though it isn't my cup of tea by a long chalk.

That viva would give chip foose some stong competition!!! Just imagine that being revealed on overhaulin.........!!!!!

By copying and pasting the text into some /quote tags. At least that's what I do.

If you feel really clever, play about with the names, e.g. quote="eBay retard". I have done this above to illustrate.

Oxygen thieves.

What's the '76' nonsense anyway?

I have no idea, I'm not sure if the Veedubtards have either.

Its an American Petrol company, as a gimmick they gave away orange balls to stick on your ariel when you filled up, these became 'cool' in the retroscene of VW's, but now every moron thinks its some sort of team logo for VW's and the stickers get plastered on everything

Thank you for clearing that up. :)

I dislike the whole 76 thing as much as I hate the whole Gulf GT40/Porsche look thing on

The Passat looked pretty nice as it was. Shame some scene knob will ruin it. I wish people would get some actual new ideas though. It's getting boring seeing every old VW covered in stickers, rattlecanned, lowered to a silly extent and having a roofrack full of old shit fitted.

1974 Morris Marina 1.3 Coupe

This freshly restored Marina is bloody lovely, £1400 buys you this hunny.

That is just round the corner from where I'm staying at the mo. It is under a cover and sitting on the front drive. I walked past it earlier and it does look good. Don't think they are the correct wheels for the year but hey...

I've just noticed, I'm not a pile of japsc** anymore woohooo.

An Austin Maxi now  sheer British AS at its best

Don't know what you don't like it on, but I love the Gulf colour thing on some stuff. Porsche 917s, GT40s, Fiat Cinquecentos.

Quite like this too.

If I was incredibly rich, I would drive around in this all day. It'd cost enough to fuel up. Love them though.
