That is cheap! Mind you, folks make a lot of "only xx miles". A friend of mine has a Pugrot 306 D, with "only 52000 miles" and it's utterly fucked. Similarly, another pal from my youth blew up a pukka Recon A Series in 40 miles. Not 40 thou, 40.

I'd be surprised if that first one had HG trouble, the earlier K-series seem to be pretty unburstable as far as I can see, its only the later and larger capacity ones that are really fragile.

Awesome spotting, chaps! Dan, I can practically smell those Hillmans, having had three (last one in 1984, it was a Sceptre). When I first looked at the second one, on the transporter, I thought it was my old white one! But no, all the doors are the same colour...

I could happily drive the white Vega daily, or the Cresta, or even the Cortina. Lovely selection.
