How that Scrote has survived is frankly a mystery. Ones of that vintage were usually minging with grot @ 4 years old. My '87 mark 4 was a bloody disgrace.

 

yeah, they were total rotboxes on a D plate - even more than usual!

 

I was told by an RS Club peep, whom I worked with briefly, that was the year the ford plant was on strike so a bunch of shells were left sitting around unprotected.

^^^I've seen that driving round Stoke a couple of times. The driver seemed to like my Audi (well he did a double take) and I certainly loved his Cav!
