GR8 4 CHASIN 101 DALMASHUNS

Posted Image

I remember these are based on the Vauxhall 2300 - the engine, front suspension at least, and probably gearbox and rear axle.

I can't imagine old Bob Jankel was too concerned with rustproofing at the time so I bet this could drain a whole load of cash, leaving you with something unloved at the end.

I want one 8)

They're also undriveable by anyone over 5ft 8" tall.

I can imagine an SVA test on that Peykan being a lot of grief :(

As much as I love the Hunter range - those are truely awfull. I imagine hes discovered that himself moting it and gave up. SVA tester would have to have a sence of humour.

Are those Chrysler Alpine rear light clusters on that Pecan Pie?

He is Julian Nowill who’s a bit of a boffin on odd foreign stuff. He did a quite nice book on East European cars

Wow another stunning looking Fiat (even though this example is a shitheap).

Never seen one of these before.

Is this a race to save a car or get bummed to death? I think I might be mis-reading it.

Hehe!

I meant, first to save the car - I was getting very frisky about it until I started working through how the conversation would run with Mrs Skizzer.

Anyone want a slightly non-functional Scirocco, to make some room in my garden for a rescued Passat?

This looks like a giggle, didn't Hirst post a video of something like this on a rally track?

4 grand seems a lot, but if you want one you're probably not filled with choice?

They usually go for about £1500-2000. I had one and sold it for £1900 (if I recall) with a long test, similarly low mileage and mint. They're scarce, but they turn up if you keep an eye out. Most of them are in good nick too (or have a blown-up gearbox).

To be honest, I only half-recommend them - they're great if you're buzzing it up to the redline on some country road, but if you're in the mood to drive it any less than at its limit, it's just too harsh. So I got rid of it and bought a 1.8 Laurel Taxi, which has about 10hp more and weighs double. That's more like it!

I had one of these, with the Mitsubishi 3.0V6, same as the Shogun.

It was a lovely car and I miss it. This thing, on the other hand... eek!

The BMW 525e looks just like the one I made the mistake of owning, for a whole four weeks in 2002. (It isn't, I remember the registration on mine... how sad am I?) And I can take you to not one but two of those Fiat 124 Coupes, returning to nature here in Paphos.

Ever had a grand piano? Or written ebay ads that didn't make any sense?

Hello, Raymanboy, is that YOU?

Do you live abroad then? We'd never have guessed judging by many of your posts.

Don't tell anyone Leonard, but actually I live in Llantwit Major. I just say I live in Cyprus as the place names are easier to spell!
