Fuel consumption driven sensibly will be around 40MPG on a run, just under 30 ish otherwise. The only exception was after a split fuel return line, which caused the apparent fuel consumption to reach 21.10. See the graph in photo album.

The bonnet hump is a poor execution of a common bonnet mod on Minis with that type of downdraft Weber - Vizard's A-series book mentions that a still-air box works well with them.
