That Audi was a bargain, wish i'd gone for it but i was waiting for a message back from him about road tax.

I checked on the DVLA, it looked to have tax until the end of November.

Yeah i saw that but there was no mention of it in the advert, I wondered if he had cashed it in yet or not as i was going to offer to buy it back of him so i could drive it home.

Honda Z 600 Coupe, May 1972, 59000 Miles, 3 Previous owners, 600cc 2 cylinder air cooled engine, original tool kit, owners manual and service book. No Tax, No Mot, Needs some finishing.

*Note to self: next time one sells a motor that looks like 1989, take photos with charity shop Hanimex, get them developed and sell said brief. Sorted.

Shocking photo but I bet this is a lovely old thing being the Turbo model, £1095 or best offer sounds very fair as well, If Bury wasn't over 4 hours away I'd might of had a look at this.

 

This bit made me laugh though...

 

The car is 10 years old, I have owned it for 1 day out those 10 years

It could almost be MGF-based from that angle. Shame he couldn't shut its flaps and take a normal three-quarter photo.

Not sure if this belongs in the bargains thread, but papped it on my way to work.

 

Old mitsubishi Colt 3 dr (Proton Persona Compact Mk0.1). Resplendant in JRG.6 months tax and test I think it said. (I was at traffic lights). £425.

 

Shame I couldn't get a side on picture, cos I can;t remember the last time I saw a non-proton one of these. I had to use full zoom on my phone as well, hence the overall air of shitness in the picture.

 

I doubt anyone will have a horn on for it, but if anyone wants I can do a drive by tomorrow morning and grab the phone number off it if it's still there.

 

Edit: Actually it looks silver there, doesn't it. It was gold, deffo.

Bloodyhell, this Turbo has done over 200k miles....

 

Deffo worth taking the risk on it though just to sit inside this interior with original mats 8)

Is "Monaco" the pull-out-all-the-stops top spec version, equivalent to the French Baccara?

 

I remember lusting after one in the late 80s, or was it early 90s...I must've been about 8!
