 Where's the blue car gone?

There's some AI going on there. The route number on the RM coming towards us is weird. Looks like it ends in a 1 but the first bit is random. Also it only has two opening windows upstairs when it should have three.

The bus going the other way appears to be carrying a version of this advert.

That was carried by RM 8 when it was being used by LT for promotional use. I don't think it carried it in service. For a start RM 8 didn't enter normal service until about 1978 as it was kept by Chiswick for testing modifications.

You'd want that Continental GT on a 6-wheel car trailer ideally.

Using it to trailer the modern one is what my son would call "a boss move".

Yeah well my dad's got a Ferrari estate. I'll show you a picture if you give me your marbles and conkers.

Yea? He pulled up in a red E-type one Friday. Spring 1965 at the latest. (Boss' car, I think)

Like the Ford Pop. My Dad had one but in grey. Think the colour choice was only slightly more than for a model T. White, Grey and Black.
Ours had wing mirrors but I don’t think it was a deluxe model as the heater was an optional extra.

In the 70's I aquired  for £10, a  1961 107E, these were fitted with a 997 over head valve motor and four speed box. It had a short mot and needed a bit of bodywork and the motor was knackered, the interior was mint and it drove well. Never found time to fix it and sold it to the scrap man for £5.
