This was taken in 1965, before Basils run in with a non co-operative BMC product. Perhaps 'hit it with a stick' was part of a fault tracing chart in all their products.

Any ideas on the backstory on this one? Cornish registration - intrigued...

The 1 star luxury of the Driftwood Spars Hotel, St Agnes. Looks like St Agnes herself is proudly displaying a 1300 FWD Trumpet (I stand to be corrected on either the type of saint or car).

Yes they were popular here too, but here it lasted a little longer until the 1960s. And was still some in use the 70's and 80's also.
