I Remember Dad and me pulling a set of seats exactly the same as those and Fitting them into his Sunny estate.

I kept them after it's demise and actually fitted them into my Corolla,they only got thrown away recently as a mouse chewed them!

These appear every now and then, and I have a fantasy of putting in the 4x4 system and diesel engine from a newer L300 into one of these.

To be fair it'd be GR8. You could attach a winch to the front, put the rope onto the tow bar and recover yourself when it broke down again.

Two old American barges who most likely started life in Norway as taxis and therefore I want both.

Cars like this were in use for a long time here and therefore have had a lot of repairs over the years and on this they have sanded off the paint and are a good example of what these cars can hide under paint. I wouldn't be surprised if my Mercedes is similar.

We had 3 estate versions of that when I was a kid, very useful motors but they rotted for fun so there are virtually none left here now. The turbo one went really well and was very advanced for the time.
