Yeah it’s the 115bhp model and feels really nippy. Surprised me, it feels faster than the Evoque 😂 

Must admit having the high spec makes all the difference, I didn’t expect dual zone digital climate control, cruise, heated seat etc from a van.

I’ve used the FM transmitter connection, Mrs JJ’s is via aux as the socket on that is right next to it

Detachable towbar on the Connect is absolutely seized solid. I guess it’s just been left on for so long it’s made itself a permanent fixture.

Taken the whole hitch off for now, @Barry Cade have you come across this style of detachable? Looks a bit of a shit design. Doesn’t appear to have a lock, just welds itself in place if it’s left on!

Yeah, we don't fit them, but see them from time to time. They're the ones you see on ebay for 80 quid delivered from Italy. If I remember correctly, you have to turn them through 90 degrees to release them. Smak it wif a big 'ammer. 

They're a bit shit.

I can’t really say anything negative about them, I suppose the sound quality is slightly worse as it’s being transmitted either via aux or FM transmitter but it’s still very good for the money 👍

On the other hand I already have an Alpine Bluetooth capable head unit in there.

I know it’s very much each to their own but my Focus ST wheels arrived today and I think they look great. Need to order some different lockers as the transit ones don’t fit but overall very happy for £180

Old ply refitted, £15 off cut of vinyl floor from marketplace and we have a clean tidy floor which can easily be wiped of dog paw prints too!

Chucked a storage box I had in  garage and strapped it down just so I have a bit of storage in the back too until I build something.

Whos idea was it to wash the van in this fucking weather. Slightly overweight mid 30s ginger I sweat at the sight of a nice day let alone this:

Anyway, engine bay came up lovely and it was nice to give the van its first wash in my ownership.
