I just can't understand the prices of Triumph GT6s, they are nice but 3 times the price of an MGB GT! This one made £16,000.

I still want one though.

Tbh I'll probably end up settling for a Spitfire as far cheaper and you have the advantage of a removable roof.

6250 was my max on this and it's just finished. Hit more than that before even the last 5 mins. 😭

Probably someone saw the ACA one and thought this was a bargain.

Could have gone for more but that's really quite a lot of money (for me) on a car sight unseen. Also quite a lot of money for a car that probably is worse than my Sprint? (If/when ever that hits the road again)

The bottom seems to have dropped out of the Spitfire MK3 prices, £3,600 for an older restoration.

They have never been great sellers. There is one in my shed destined for ACA.

I loved that Audi 100 Coupe and they worked very hard to get £9700  which seemed a bit on the low side.

hmm i wonder what warrants a doubling in the asking price of this in just over 24hrs?

from the auction advert: The current indicated mileage is 52,060 miles, which the history suggests is actually 152,060 miles

from the C&C advert: Mileage: 52,000 Miles

Ah makes sense, they've got a time machine obviously

"Odometer is showing 52000 miles"  It's pretty naughty way to catch people's interest whilst denying they are trying to sell it as only having done 52k.

Last year a scottish classic dealer (that lives in a cave...) tried to sell my old 924 as being low mileage, until I pointed out they needed to add 100k on top. Shady as fuck.

I had a 944 with 249k on the clock years ago. The odometer stopped working years prior so god only knows how many it had actually covered. I'd always guessed at close to 300k. It was up for sale last year as needing work, but it was apparently a rare opportunity because it only had circa 70k on the clock. People are the worst.

A while ago a Manta 1.8 gt went up for sale on the Isle of Jersey, seemingly in v good condition, fairly rare colour of Steel Silver and only 40k.

I was trying to arrange a buy without seeing it but the seller was a bit vague and it felt a bit off.

Whilst I umm'd and ah'd over it,it sold and went to Scotland iirc where the buyer found many issues with it.including being well over 140k
