Autoshite meets Barry;when worlds collide...

Sometimes, people do the most extraodinary things, and this should be celebrated.

For example:

Note in the spec, this car sports BAD LOOK, which is nothing if not honest. Not only that, it also has a rover K-series.

Obviously someone has put alot of time and love into this, but it's ultimately still rubbish.

Can you top this for odd modifications to a base vehicle so hopeless?

*No saxo's or similar, we know they are rubbish, but the kids like 'em. No japanese Vanning vans either, slating them is SO 2004.

This effort from Top Gear must be worth a mention:

first fitted with a 2.5 UMM engine ( same as a Pug )

later fitted with a 1.8 Turdblower Dizzler

it seemed a good idea at the time.....and still does 8)

I really would use that FSO as a daily driver! I might give the K sealries motor the heave ho though and install a Pug 1.9 dizzler.

I have seen worse. I would have that, but on different wheels.

Got the rims for free...so seemed a shame not to use them...they are ugly though, might just use some Cosworths on it next time

I don't geddit? that silver one is just a standard Jaguar s-type isn't it? Oh wait....looking very carefully there seems to be something not quite right about the roofline....whatever is going on there it's bloody convincing though.

Can I have that?

The wheels and stance quite suit the lines of the old MkV; however the engine's a bit lacking. A 351 coupled to a Borg Warner 5 speed would be nice or even a 460. Handling might be a bit treacherous. It appears to be four wheel drive. Is it?

sadly its not 4x4, but the stance was deliberately made to be that hight due to the shit road we lived on at that time, I'm thinking of putting a 2.9V6 in it with LPG at the moment...
