Daily DeLorean project (now with Jeep Wrangler "spared no expense")

I've not properly introduced my shite, so here we go.

My daily workhorse, a 2006 Saab 9-3 estate, and my most recent acquisition, a 1973 Ford LTD. The Saab is a six-speed manual with 1.9 turbo diesel, currently 123k.  The Ford is a column shift automatic (three-speed I think, I forget) with 351 cu. in. (5.8 ltr) pushrod V8, current 109k.

Next up, my 1960 Wolseley 1500. It's a four-speed manual with 1.5 BMC B-series pushrod engine. 86k ish (estimated as records indicate speedo change at some point).

Almost the same. The one used in Terminator was a '75 facelift model (different grill and headlight surrounds, different tail lights).

Oh my, that LTD is glorious.  In some forgotten 70s cop show you could be Detective Second Grade to @danthecapriman’s Lieutenant with his slighty posher Mercury version.

Lovely Wolseley too. What a colour combo.

Wonderful fleet you have there. That LTD though...😍 what a beast!

You've got a very similar registration on it to mine too. I wonder if they came over at a similar time?

Cor! Look at that! What a colour, too!

I think the two need to meet one day.

More pictures of the LTD, as requested. It's clearly the star of the show.

We have a few Yank lickers here!  Check out some signatures, let them be your guide.  Where in the country are you?  You may find one of us within reach when we are allowed out again!

Yeah, I've noticed a few yank tanks around the forum.

Shropshire. Would like to meet some shiters irl.

Shropshire isn't too far.  At some point if it's allowed we will be going down south - without Huggy, sadly - so an overnight stop could be arranged.

I’m not a million miles from Shropshire either.

Very good!  It's behind the car by what, half a mile?  This was after my epic Lockdown Bodywork Orgy last year; I need to do some more this year too.

Lawnmower shite.

This is my Hayter petrol lawnmower. British made (in Hertfordshire). Had it a year now and very happy with it. Changed the oil today (Morris Lubricants - also made in the UK), cleaned the air filter, checked spark plug gap, sharpened and balanced the blade. IMG_0275.thumb.JPG.798e2e0c08d1cb577c27f86a1280c9d2.JPG

The Wolseley is gone, so I did the right thing and immediately set about buying another car. 🙄

Speculations invited.

Ford Pinto!! You’ll have a full size Ford and a compact Ford then.

Give us a clue...

What day did you say the transporter was coming for Huggy?

Oops, spoiler alert...?

I like the thinking, I really do. But no.

Clues will be given by way of esoteric photographs. You're all a bunch of car spergs, so I doubt this will take long.
