Justwatching Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 I've not properly introduced my shite, so here we go. My daily workhorse, a 2006 Saab 9-3 estate, and my most recent acquisition, a 1973 Ford LTD. The Saab is a six-speed manual with 1.9 turbo diesel, currently 123k. The Ford is a column shift automatic (three-speed I think, I forget) with 351 cu. in. (5.8 ltr) pushrod V8, current 109k. Next up, my 1960 Wolseley 1500. It's a four-speed manual with 1.5 BMC B-series pushrod engine. 86k ish (estimated as records indicate speedo change at some point). Missy Charm, Shirley Knott, Sigmund Fraud and 39 others 42

The one used in Terminator was a '75 facelift model (different grill and headlight surrounds, different tail lights).
spartacus Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Nice, more pics and details of the LTD when possible please! Justwatching 1
Skizzer Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Oh my, that LTD is glorious. In some forgotten 70s cop show you could be Detective Second Grade to @danthecapriman’s Lieutenant with his slighty posher Mercury version. Lovely Wolseley too. What a colour combo. Justwatching and danthecapriman 2
danthecapriman Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Wonderful fleet you have there. That LTD though...😍 what a beast! You've got a very similar registration on it to mine too. I wonder if they came over at a similar time? Scruffy Bodger, LightBulbFun, Skizzer and 9 others 12

Justwatching Posted March 27, 2021 Author Posted March 27, 2021 More pictures of the LTD, as requested. It's clearly the star of the show. Barry Cade, Dick Cheeseburger, Scruffy Bodger and 20 others 23

eddyramrod Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 Shropshire isn't too far. At some point if it's allowed we will be going down south - without Huggy, sadly - so an overnight stop could be arranged. Justwatching 1
sutty2006 Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 I’m not a million miles from Shropshire either. eddyramrod and Justwatching 2

eddyramrod Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Very good! It's behind the car by what, half a mile? This was after my epic Lockdown Bodywork Orgy last year; I need to do some more this year too. Doctormop 1
Justwatching Posted April 2, 2021 Author Posted April 2, 2021 Lawnmower shite. This is my Hayter petrol lawnmower. British made (in Hertfordshire). Had it a year now and very happy with it. Changed the oil today (Morris Lubricants - also made in the UK), cleaned the air filter, checked spark plug gap, sharpened and balanced the blade. sdkrc, Skizzer, HMC and 1 other 4
Justwatching Posted May 25, 2021 Author Posted May 25, 2021 The Wolseley is gone, so I did the right thing and immediately set about buying another car. 🙄 Speculations invited. danthecapriman, loserone, sdkrc and 1 other 4
