When that's full it becomes an open museum free to the public with a glorious well stocked bar/restaurant and anyone is allowed to sit in the cars and play around with them. But not nick bits off them or break them, the bouncers would step in there. (£ Price = ???)Existing members of this forum would have lifelong membership with special privelidges e.g. free use of cars, subsidised bar rates, late lock-ins, free accommodation (in the plentiful Commer/Bedford camper vans) and so on.A sizeable lottery win would then include the following which would live nearby inside my retro-futuristic mansion as part of the interior decor:1 Aston Martin DB6 (silver)2 Mercedez Benz 300SL Gullwing (maroon)3 Jaguar E-Type S1 fhc (red)4 Jensen Interceptor I (yellow w/black vinyl roof)5 Citroen SM (gold)6 Alfa Romeo Montreal (red)7 Ferrari 246GT Dino (red)8 Rolls Royce Corniche fhc (maroon)9 De Tomaso Mangusta (don't mind which colour)10 Lamborghini Urraco (red)11 Maserati Bora (red)12 Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta Lusso (silver)(about £1m-£2m would cover that lot)I just can't decide which 2 to drop out of that 12 to make it 10, impossibly hard. And then a record breaking Euromillions rollover jackpot:1 Panther 62 Bertone Carabo3 Aston Martin Ogle4 Lamborghini Marzal5 Maserati Boomerang6 the original Batmobile7 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud III dhc Chinese eye8 Rolls Royce Phantom V9 Lamborghini Miura roadster10 Bugatti Veyron roadster(£ priceless)etc etc

Ive just spent the last hour composing my list only for IE to crash. If I get time (again) then I'll whack my list up...

Depends. If it was a multi million quid win, cars wouldn't really enter the equation. I'd have a nice everyday car, but I'd me too interested in a Supermarine Spitfire and flying lessons to give a shit about cars.Otherwise;1970 Plymouth 383 Hemi 'Cuda1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille or Series 62 Coupe1970's 365/512 Ferrari Boxer - in black.Mark 1 BMC 1100 - probably a Morris. :D 1800 Princess with a BL Special Tuning Pluspac (MGB tune) motor.Series 1 XJ6 4.2, Regency red with buiscuit hide.Pre HE XJ-S with proper Kent wheels and black bumpers.Seventies Aston Martin V8Standard Mark 1 Mexico - none of the horrid modded crap with mental Pintos and too-small-tyres on Supalites. Just lowered a tad, black on Daytona yellow.

That's God's way of telling you that you need Firefox.

In no particular order --

1- Packard 200 2dr Deluxe -- it has to be this one.

Posted Image

2- Earliest P1800 coupe I can find, in the best condition. Has to be Sea Green with steels, trim rings and whitewalls.

Posted Image

3- '65 Oldsmobile 98 4dr 455ci

Posted Image

4- '58 Mercury Commuter 2dr Wagon

Posted Image

5- '64 Fairlane Thunderbolt

Posted Image

6- VXR8 Bathurst - Repainted Ford Imperial Blue with black wheels. De-badged and de-stickered for slyness

7- '67 Dodge Monaco Station Wagon

Posted Image

8- '59 Buick LeSabre 2dr Hardtop. Just because it isn't a '59 Caddy.

Posted Image

9- escRot. If I had a pound or two, I'd get it resto-modded. Same colour, same interior, but I'd have it acid dipped and fully worked over. Top it off with a YB or warmed over 302.

10- This would be the spare space in the garage, so I can swap, change and generally try and experience as many cars as possible 8)

Im at work, so I don't get the option of a different browser

Well i have to admit there are two that i would get ASAP. Avenger Tiger, cuz they're the nuts and (waits for dissaproving frowns), twin Hyabusa engined Dax Rush, cuz they have to be fastest road legal go-kart on the planet, for zooming round Barbados, Malta etc. Would also need to purchase a second hand seacat thingy off Stenna Line for more sedate round the world trips. Plenty of room for just about everything in one of those. I wish Pete hadn't started this thread, the fantasy part of my brain has gone into overdrive, and i can't seem to turn it off !

Most of my list is shite, but I'd have them restored.Mk1 or Mk2 Mini, in grey or cream with red vinyl seats. 10" steel wheels and no effing arch extensions.Hillman Avenger 1600DL Estate. Preferably in Deep Mango, that's the colour of the one I had.Mk2 Cortina. Any variety. Renault SavannaHillman Imp or variant- 1960s versionAny late 60s/early 70s American behemoth estate car with bulk but no bling.Austin 1100 Mk2. Must have wavy grille and strip speedo.Datsun Cedric estate. Any variety as long as it has twin rear wipers.SAAB 99 Turbo, the three door version on Incas. This would be my only exception to the "no alloys" rule apart from...A brand new supercar. It doesn't matter which one, they are all exactly the same. It would never be driven though, just parked on the lawn for all to see and left to rot.

Well... I probably wouldn't be able to limit myself to ten cars and if I did, then my collection would probably change on a weekly basis.I also don't think that I could live with myself if I bought any of the modern stuff that normally appeals to pop singers, professional footballers and the such. Everyday car would be something along the lines of a Ford C-Max TDCi and my dream garage would be full of posh shite that would make most people wonder :1. Citroen SM2. Citroen DS3. Panhard 24CT4. Facel-Vega HK5005. Marcos Mantara LM6006. Corvette C3 4277. Tatra T6038. Jaguar 420G9. Autobianchi A112 Abarth10. Messerschmitt KR200That's it... I'm off to buy a lottery ticket now :D

Tatra T-613-4

Heh, the T613-5 was tweaked by a Brit who got the fuel injection and everything working on it. Upon arriving in Czech and hearing it run for the first time he very nearly got lynched. When they started the engine he listened to it for a mo he turned to the Czech engineers who'd spent weeks slaving away and said "That sounds peachy".

Peachy sounds pretty much identical to the Czech for "twat".

Possibly in orange, although it may make one look like a twat.

Also want to add this to my list of cars wanted!.

Having had 24 hours to mull this over, I feel that this list could be improved upon. So in addition to these -

1. Citroen Mehari

2. Porsche 911 (996 I think...)

3. Renault Alpine A610

4. Alfa Romeo Montreal

5. Citroen DS

6. Citroen H van

7. SEAT Exeo Estate (daily, fitted with a towbar ftw)

8. Renault 5 Turbo 2

9. Escort RS 1600i

10.Renault Estafette

plus loads more really. Then there would be a barn full of other tat, old Renaults, Seat Malagas and that sort of thing :D

11. RenaultSport Twingo

12. Alfa 8C Competizione

13. VW Corrado VR6

14. 7.5t recovery truck with sleeper cab (GR8 4 international tat rescue)

Additionally, as its going to be a multiple rollover, I'll be having this -

For sale for about $10m, has space for 350 cars and would convert quite nicely into a yacht. Much better than the superyachts the rich prefer. And, you could just turn up at some remote Greek island, hoover up some interesting old chod and then bring them back to my World of Tat.

I dunno, i always thought the '68 was much nicer with the one piece grille. the chrome surround/split thing is a bit too 'bling' for the clean lines of the car.

i think i'll also add this to my list:

with a 440, natch

Amongst others probably one of the hot JDM-only Nissans ie; R31 GTS-RSkyline, 200ZE Fairlday, FJ20T Silvia etc.I could reel off a whole list of (probably Jap) motors but I'd drive something totally unremarkable everyday. Like a fiesta or something.

Brilliant idea Mr Lobster. My own preference would be for something a little more yacht-like :

Only room for 170 cars but at just $2.6 million and already in the Adriatic, I wouldn't even need a roll-over 8)
