There used to be a little star icon added next to threads you'd contributed to, but that seems to have stopped happening sometimes. 

Not especially important, but a curiosity I suppose.

I have written in both these threads:

It seems like if you haven't posted in a last few pages, the star disappears. No idea which update and why it stopped doing that. Nor can I see any options to make it clear how to change that behaviour. But if you post again in that thread, it turns to a star again.

Perhaps they did it to improve performance or something like that.

Aye, I suspected that.

I applied a hot patch into the forum software the other day that did mention it had some style changes. Perhaps that didn't quite reload correctly or Cloudflare cache got a bit confused. But yeah a force refresh usually clears out the style cache.

I'll tell Cloudflare to dump it's cache now too just in case it didn't fully invalidate it properly.

Asked various mods/admin but have not got a useful/any reply. Last Wednesday I lost the ability to view the politics thread. No issue with that bar the semi obligatory pre sleep giggle. 

I am a little confused as to why this happened and, perhaps, someone could explain why. 

I can still read BFG's posts though which is good.

Erm not that I'm aware of!

However sometimes sites can make a "site" that is basically an icon on your phone screen to take a direct link to the website. If this site has done it, I haven't done anything! It'll be a standard Invision forum feature.

Not that I’m aware of. My tablet just asked me to download the app. I don’t use tapatalk.

Recently the forum was slow for me about around 5 to 10 minutes. This has happened to me often in the last few days around this time has anyone else experienced this?

Iirc you're in Norway. Looks like it was connecting your through a US Cloudflare server for some weird reason - I'd thought it would be a European server.

Things continue to be weird for me, had problems uploading pictures then it failed too upload then I got this below and after that everything was fine again.

You absolutely can, however unfortunately I can’t be too helpful. I’ve been traveling for the past couple of days and roaming LTE randomly varies between awful and outstanding, so I’m not sure if any pf the hickups I saw were my connection or the site itself. I didn’t get any Cloudflare error pages FWIW. If I run into anything when I get back home, I’ll check what I can from my end.

I’ve had random upload issues previously, but were cleared up by refreshing the page or reopening the browser, so it’s safe to assume they were on my end. Don’t think it threw an error code though.

One I do occasionally have is forum appearing in logged out mode when session resumes after it was suspended for a while, but that’s just refresh token expiring and forum software saying no. Normal operation resumes after a refresh.

Weird. No errors in the logs, so it would suggest that it's a connection issue again.

But something positive, I have so far not noticed anything strange with the forum tonight.

Does anyone know how to make the site easier to view on my mobile? It used to be fine but now I get a web type view and it's difficult to navigate.

Is there something I can do to fix it?

You are a gentleman. I've struggled to use the site for a few months now and a quick untick and all sorted. So easy when you know how!
