That rover got second place trophy too.

It was well clean I must say.

Did the old guy start the tvr for you by eck did it sound good.

The 305 was the tatiest motor there and I saw loads of people taking it's picture and had two people wanting to buy it, was a good show.

I didn't but wish I did now! Bet it made a good noise. What was 1st then? Was a good show, cheers for the heads up

I also got to sit in the TVR Paul! Although I thought it was a Griffith? Did you know where the door handle was? The old boys were laughing at me trying to get out of it!

The jag that was under the cover most of the day next to the tent that was selling them and that triumph 2000 both got trophys, I don't know the order of winners except the guy with the red rover got second as I know him,I never though to ask him which order the other two came in.

All three where bloody clean as new motors but the datty should have gotten a trophy in my eyes,

If you missed some of the motors you must have left early, It started at 10 am and we arrived just before 11 but cars where still arriving at 3 pm by which time some had already left,

it's quite a casual show where you can come and go as you please.

Yes she was a good buy with only servicing tyres and a set of shocks in 11 years, 😉   it will be doing the 5th year Roamers run in june so that will be another 6 to 700 mile weekend,  this show was the first one where the wee colt was actually well photographed and attracted a load of attention, I'm not sure wether I like that or not as up to now it's been invisible amongst the popular classics.

I'm doing road roamers this weekend but if I can't find a b&b in Penrith on the Saturday night I'm planning on coming home and doing the show Sunday.   Not showing though as it was fully booked well in advance.

Was pretty good till about 1.30pm whe rain started to clear the field.

This van was excellent condition with better paint than most prestige cars.

 

shame this one's to get broken up to save a van but would require fair bit of work to restore I guess.
