Got up this morning and it was cloudy and raining, but I set off on the 12 minute drive to Dolores for the classic car show there.

Was free to enter, but the first 200 who paid €5 received a t-shirt, a voucher for half a loaf filled with cheese and freshly sliced ham, and two vouchers for drinks (beer or canned pop). And the sight of a couple of young ladies twerking on the stage to some banging toons (no photos!).

Firstly, there was some great shite there:

Three door Sierra 2.0i with an array of 80's shelf speakers. Didn't we just het the 1.3 and 1.6 in the UK?

Renault 25 of the V6 variety.

Renault 5 for sale, loaded with about 10 cans of wob.

Less wob, more shine.

Pretty original 5 Turbo (driven by very pretty girl).

Another 5? I've cannot recall seeing one like this before. Is it a 5?

Or not a 5?

Other random stuff (including a fair sprinkling of French).

Plenty more there-a Sherpa GT, MGA's, W123's, W124's, and half a dozen driftyo BMW E30's.

Another show next week, just a few miles north of here, which, if the weather forecast is good, will get more cars and bikes.

Worth a 12 minute drive and two hours looking around.

The weird R5 is an R7, a booted 4 door version of the 5 built in Spain.

Thank you-there was never anyone around the car to ask. And you have confirmed that I have never seen or heard of one before.

Some cracking spots there, cheers for sharing them.

I remember those from childhood holidays on Spain, but the ones I saw were always badged 'Siete' as opposed to the numeral, like most other Renaults of the day.

What was the asking on the wobbed R5?

Owner will be at the show next week, so will get more photos then. Looked nice and rot free.

There is a badge on the boot.

Nice shots. We had a classic car run near me, but the rain put me off going this year. I have loads of photos from last years run. I should get around to publishing them some time.

Lovely lot there. I recall marvelling at the Seite the first time I saw one in 1993 in Menorca.

Three door (non-sporting) Sierras in the UK came in 1.3 base, 1.6 base and 1.6 L - and don't forget the 2.3 diesel (base and L).

Only for the 1984 model year.

No badge of any kind on the back of the Renault 7, but glad that people here knew what it was.

There was also this, which I presume is a kit car:

I hope someone will be able to tell me at least what the body is, if not the mechanical.

That 25 has flared bodywork, it looks ace, never seen one like that before. Factory or wob?

No price on th R5, or any of the few cars there that were for sale. Should have got some more photos, as the off side (or is it near side here?) rear quarter and door boot om looked to be all wob, as was much of the sill I suspect.

There is always one to prove me wrong this time by a de-badged R7 :-(

the no price advertising is typical of the country. Adverts can  also lack details like KMs, trim level, age or even simple misspelling of the make or model. It is funny and at the same time frustrating.

I seem to remember Panhard65 has (or had) a Renault 7 he took back from Spain. It's in a fetching shade of pale green.

Nice spots, looks like a great show!

Just the earlier version too, never the facelifted version. I remember being in Majorca in 1989 seeing these 3 door Sierras and feeling sad that they weren't sold in the UK.

I often used to stop when I saw an interesting (to me) car for sale on the side of a road. And totally agree with the no price or any proper details concerning the car.

A couple of times I've seen cars parked nowhere near a house or by flats with no contact number or address.

It was an excellent show, not that many cars, but each one was of interest. Looking forward to the next show on Sunday.

The front view for you Wuvvum:

I thought it a really nice thing.s Straight down both flanks with no dings and no faded paint.

Plus that badge on the back.

Yesterday I went to what I thought would be a good car show near me. It turned out to be very poorly attended, even though the town was very busy. I had seen all of the dozen or so cars here last week, except these two:

Disappointment was somewhat curtailed with a beer and a small plate of paella

I really must start looking for some shite (or interesting) cars-not seen too many to be honest, unless I'm going everywhere with my eyes closed.

That swoopy-winged kit car is a Beetle-based 'Madison', sold in the UK by GP sports cars back in the day. Wonder what its story is there? I can't see the tapas munchers being much into kit car building.

Been though Catrel once or twice. I'm in Quesada, "car show" yesterday in Guardamar, so even closer.

The paella pan was carried in a trailer towed behind a van. No photo though.

I had an identical R5 turbo. That dodge 3700 is fit.
