If going the hose/jubilee clip method, make sure you flare the ends of the pipes to give the clips something to purchase on, PAS is high pressure and they will blow off without a flare. Voice of experience with the Holden!

(Well it nearly worked on the Rover 620, but seems I missed another hole - I did go from pissing PS fluid and no power steering to tiny MOT-failworthy drip and the return of power steering).

Oh, on a clear day you can see Blackpool, and a few less geographically aware people have attempted to walk across. I mean it's only maybe 10 miles to Lythum st Anne's.

Only problem is the River Ribble. 45 miles by Road, via Preston.

It is the return pipe from rack to pump so it's low pressure compared to the pump to rack plumbing.

Just started watching the Myrtle vid, and as you mentioned the Mazda - I'm considering 'deleting' (very MX5 term) the PAS cooler by connecting the two pipes shown with a red line in this parts diagram. I'm guessing that would work for you? Just need to work out how to connect the two pipes to prevent leaks...

 

 

Though I guess no PAS cooler on a track day could be an issue!

Yep. Just 15mm copper and bend it or stick 90 degrees bends on it. Then Jubilee clips and jobs a goodun.
