Why didn't he reverse into the garage like a normal giffer?

Its not giffer unless they're reversing in at 7k revs, something fishy there

He "put it into reverse for the next day".... what? How much time does that save you in the morning? Especially when you're a giffer and you're only going out in the car to get some bread, and because it's warmer than your house.

 

Maybe they had pre-selector gearboxes? Really, really, really extreme pre-selector gearboxes?

for some reason, I absolutely dispise those "One life, live it" stickers that wankers put on their LRs. And I take great delight in forcing them into down-shifting by cutting them up and then braking heavily. Then roaring off, because I can . Live that one, you twat.

 

Like owning a shite 4x4 makes them hardcore adrenalin junkies. More like "slow on the motorways and uncomfortable drive while putting up with tyre roar" junkies.

Ease up on the Landy bashing lads. While I would rather eat a ONE LIFE sticker than put one anywhere near a vehicle, I prefer my Disco to J-tin. Sorry. If we were only interested in vehicles that are actually good, we'd all have to leave this forum.
