£8500 - Time to stop f*cking about @HMC 😜

I don't use FB can't see the details. That is however not a standard car but a coachbuilt - note the extra window in  the C-pillar.

I'm no expert with these but in may be a 'James Young' Touring Limousine.

Probably makes it a bit more valuable restored - but possibly more difficult to restore.

These are much better for DIY than a Silver Shudder as they have a chassis and no hydraulic gubbins.

Simpler straight-6 engineering but still very expensive if needing rebuild.

Edit: Ad says its an 8.

Don't think you have to be on Facebook to view the link? Might be wrong though so from the ad:

"Rare 1960 Silver Cloud 2 Rolls Royce long wheel base. Running. One owner. V8 Regal Red Structurally sound. Original interior. All original parts. 4 door saloon. Stored for 18 years. Selling for a family member who has owned it from new. 54000 miles."

Sounds undervalued or something 🤔 Though damage has happened to the body/paint - all that cracking.

What an absolute revolution those vans were on introduction. Everyone of a certain age has probably driven or been in one or had something carried in one.

I did not know they started off with 'organ pedals' - interesting fact.

Yes clutch pedal is a rod that pivots on block/bell housing like American stuff, changed with other stuff circa 1970 with first facelift.

Galant! Looks like Portuguese paperwork but RHD.

Is that a Rover 200 van behind it?
Never knew those were a thing until now - I've had a very sheltered existence.

Probably from South Africa originally. A lot of South Africans of Portuguese origin moved to the mother country and took their cars with them.
