I dont like the new paint job either.

Fortunately it's just a wrap:

The vehicle has been wrapped in a handsome two-tone metallic grey, the vendor choosing to wrap it instead of painting should the future owner wish to return it to its prior yellow the wrap could easily be removed showing the original paintwork below.

I prefer the original yellow.

I did notice it's got the Rolls grille on again. Wonder how long that'll stay for?

I like the subtle update. It's still instantly recognisable as the beast, but looks a bit tidier around the edges. Great to see it's had a RR grille reinstated after such a long hiatus, too. The front end has gone from a face only a mother could love to looking almost like it could have been factory. I think the only change which doesn't work quite as well is the tailgate and back end - the previous double light clusters looked pretty neat.

SDI polo with a tide mark, st George cross steelies and some red tape over the lights for that lean, mean slow diesel machine look.

I shall go back to the whiskey and drink a little more and pretend I never seen this abomination.

Peugeot 106 Spares Or Repair

Quote

We thought it would be a shame to strip and squash it without offering it for auction. That said, it's listed purely as spares or repair, it will only be listed once and if we get messed about we will just squash it.

1981 SPECIAL WOLFRACE SONIC Sports PETROL Manual

Wow, it's still around. I thought it had disappeared years ago.

I remember there were problems getting the engines synchronised and getting the drivetrain combination to work, which is understandable - 2 Rover V8s mounted side by side powering through two autoboxes to a Jag diff. They did get it to drive though.

The technical details would be interesting - the buyer may need to be an expert in witchcraft.
