Cortina Crayford... something. Even the seller isn't sure.

I have owned this project for 46 years! It is complete less engine/less exhaust system, which was a twin cam and the chassis number would suggest a Lotus Cortina Crayford? But it could be a 1600GT that was fitted with a twin cam engine.

Sometimes I wish I could like a post multiple times. That Cervo is nuts, it's like an Alto coupe with the coolest seats ever.

They look like metal chassis legs to me.  Probably from something old going by the wheel.

Bickle has / had one of those.  Same engine as my old 1938 Novaquatre - 2.4 sidevalve with roots going back to WW1 and the same power output as the 1108cc Cléon-Fonte introduced a few years later.

This looks cheap, given the daft prices old vans seem to fetch nowadays.

That's possibly too cool. The stripes and front grill are two of the best things i've ever seen.

There's a blue Mitsubishi one in Cyprus with similar stripes, but with steel wheels.

Or how about the absolute pinnacle of low cost, high liability with this 180k mile twinturbo V12 CL600 with a £800-1200 reserve?

New handbrake cables and a bulb are the easy bits, the MIL illuminated could be all manner of problems from a simple historic fault needing to be cleared up to an impending megabork.

What's up with these Volkswagonists that ask ten pissing grand for a vastly over-rated car, on which the test ran out nearly 4 years ago and it's not had a clean MOT for at least 19 years?

Most German cars do absolutely bugger all for me, with the exception of Opels. Opel made some excellent cars in the 60's & 70's.
