I think it's the rear view that is the worst aspect of this one, the exhaust miles from the cut out, the exposed hinges and the nasty little spoiler. 

 

But those rear lights are the worst. I always liked what TVR did on the Chimaera, Fiesta lights but hidden behind some smoked glass.

Can somebody please buy this so I can stop jizzing all over my laptop screen, or buy my BX so I can buy this superb SPRINTER CARIB 4WD instead?

 

NB would this be an official UK car or AUS/NZ import?

Fantastic cars these. It could well have been a UK model; they were sold over here and I have no idea why they didn't sell more because it was a really nice and competent replacement for the Tercel.

 

My mum had one in 1988 and I learned to drive in it. It could only use that newfangled unleaded pez, so it came with a booklet Toyota had produced, with a list of where you could find petrol stations which sold unleaded.

 

When she sold it, it had 200,000 miles on it and had never broken down. She traded it for a Rav4 and bitterly regretted it.

 

Roadholding was superb due to the 4x4 setup. Driving fast on wiggly A roads was good because you would run out of nerve before you ran out of road. Only a little 1.6 litre engine, but still capable of making brisk progress and the motor was absolutely bomb-proof.

 

In the field of nice nippy 4x4 estate cars, it's a great alternative to what was on offer from Audi or Subaru.

Apart from the disappointingly un-mad colour this looks the fricking jizz. 3L pez too, so that's one less thing to worry about (leaving just 8,412 other things).

That 600 also states 12 months T&T, so over £200 worth of tax make that a bit of a bargain if you ask me.

And once you have then you'll just need to register yourself as a eunuch because when you've performed your first emergency stop right outside the hospital and the gear stick has removed your knackers, you will be able to catapult yourself through the handlebars and clean through the window at A&E.
