The only upside is that a replacement glass may be found because it doesn't rust

Rock Auto has loads of parts for it. Not that I have looked or thought about it at all honest*.

Here's hoping the back glass is flat and if not, I guess it will be the same as a Chevy?

Actually I'm not certain it could go 60.

If you look carefully at the below:

1982 Triumph ACCLAIM HL Saloon Petrol Manual - Picture 9 of 11

you'll see the exhaust is blowing and that fumes are entering the cabin via the open window.  That's obviously causing anyone who drives the car to suffer from delusions; one person now thinks she's a chicken, another that Keir Starmer wants to turn Buckingham Palace into a branch of McDonald's and a third individual, worst of all, is now going round claiming that half-dead Triumph Acclaim is worth £7,500.

I am in the process of asking the DVLA to re-register it as the plate allocated is not reflective of the car's true age.

Don't be such a killjoy. It was bad enough when owners of M-reg cars hoodwinked the DVLA into believing their cars were built in 1972 in order to qualify for free road tax and got them changed to K or L-reg.
