Can't be many of these left now. This one seems to have been cleaned by one of the White Helmets motorcycle display team, too

Land Rover Defender 110 1978 eagle - Picture 3 of 21

Land Rover Defender 110 1978 eagle | eBay UK

It's a 1978 Land Rover Defender Eagle,  with the V5 from a 1972 Rover V8.

1978 would be Series 3 109" ...basically its a bitsa!!

Grace, pace and a disgrace

Oh I don't know - looks fantasticly inappropriate for some posh Jaaag meet. A diesel Rolls Royce is even better.

Its a 1972 Range Rover rolling chassis with a GRP fish pond  Eagle kit car body on top.

The only 1978 Defender 110 part is in the mind of the vendor, who has also got the engine size wrong.

I think they need a new calculator. A £30,000 car plus a £1,250 number plate don't make £1.2M.

Especially when the MOT history is nearly as chequered as Noel's.

Perhaps it’s got a fuel cutoff switch that’s been triggered?

They were  but not a run out model, some anniversary from memory?

When the lads in work went to insure an escort Mexico they were met with ridiculous quotations at first based on the original escort Mexico being a bit of a performance car in its day, and obvs stolen a lot back then.

Once the insurers realised nobody in their right mind would steal one of these pieces of shit, order was restored.

I think the Mexico edition even had wheel trims?

Tragic.

That one looks so amateurish I would be amazed if it was any more than a dealer special. The Mk5 ‘Mexico’ was, indeed, a complete travesty.

Everyone had such low expectations of this generation of Escort they were slightly surprised the 1992 RS 2000 wasn’t a complete pile of shit. It wasn’t very good, but it was still loads better than any other Mk5.

Edit - this is the ‘official’ Mk5 Harrier. Looks grim as hell, for those lucky* people who shop at Central England Ford dealers..IMG_0695.jpeg.ab86b8763b4397cf4ccf789cbde013ef.jpeg

"I will accept gold sovereigns / kruger rands [sic] as full or part payment"

"I will need a 10% (no re-fundable ) deposit paid by cash or bank transfer with in 24 hour from the end of the auction, the balance to be paid in the same way."

Given that a Krugerand is worth atm £2,589.00 atm not sure how many they are expecting 😂

That will be "wiggy" in Bristol. He is a bit special and there is no way anyone should buy a car off him. He had the Mulsanne turbo that HMC bought. I had veiwed it a few weeks before and it was a complete pile of shite. He has a couple of ebay accounts to drive prices up but don't expect a car to come close to his descriptions.

Ford Escort, 1.8TDi, 1996, Barn Find! - Picture 1 of 9

Ford Escort, 1.8TDi, 1996, Barn Find! | eBay UK

'due to purchase of bigger vehicle'

Ford Escort, 1.8TDi, 1996, Barn Find! - Picture 3 of 9

Presumably it's the JCB as it's less agricultural, a million times nicer to drive and people would be seen alive in it?

'will not start due to PATS error preventing injection pump working'

That's the plus point dealt with, any negatives?
