I wonder how many cars that knobhead Ratcliffe actually sold.  Did the new Defender piss on his chips?

Judging by the amount I see, they have sold a ton of them. They're just everywhere.

The new Defender was out a long time before the Grenadier, so I don't think so

Passed MOT 4th July 2024, then developed an intermittent hesitation during acceleration which over time got more frequent. Clutch was replaced 8th July, then also replaced spark plugs and distributor cap. Fault codes logged were 11, 13, 15. Replaced Throttle Position Sensor (Mazda one not third party) Aug 2024 but did not resolve issue. Finally, after resetting fault codes (removing negative from battery and pumping brake pedal) car now will not start. Turns over but does not fire - doesn't appear to be getting anything through any of the HT leads, so could be failed distributor. The arm looks ok, but I'm not a mechanic so don't hold me to that. Comes with a new MAP sensor, not fitted. Got to the end of my tether with it, it's a shame as it was running perfectly and was 100% reliable until this last fault and is a really clean well looked after car for it's age.

That is fantastic.  Stick-on HRW applied completely on the piss and aftermarket rear wiper with a modern aero blade.  Top giffering.

Making a Vitesse estate is not as easy as it looks though it has been done several times. The front chassis is longer to take the straight six so the easiest way is to start off with a Vitesse chassis and put a Herald estate body on it, whilst keeping the Vitesse bonnet obviously. So you do realistically need two cars to make the one. Was a lot easier (by which I mean cheaper) when you could pick them up for £50 each. I guess if you were careful you could put the Vitesse body  back on the Herald and sell it on to get some of your money back.

I don't know why Triumph never officially made a Vitesse estate, it sounds like a perfect small car.

might be worth dropping the seller a line, see if he will post to you being such a big Yugo fan.  If not I'd be happy to have it sent to me then forwarded to you but guess it would be cheaper to see if he will send directly

Thanks man! Message sent, hopefully guy wants to faff with a random dude off Facebook from half way across the Europe. 🤞

As usual, I fully expect him to tell me to fuck off as it’s too much hassle to post internationally, especially post-Brexit.
