eBay tat volume 3.

Not eBay, not tat - if anyone wants to join me in Cruisering, this looks like the car I SHOULD have bought (except it's not black and it's a manual)

Less than £3000, 40,000 miles, and CAMBELT CHANGED - which accounts for £800 of the value if it's been done right. I'm genuinely impressed with my Cruiser as a convertible to enjoy - even if it's completely un-sporting in nature (and expensive to tax for the sake of 15g/km of CO2, bastards).

IMO the mk1s have a nicer interior. I had a hard top mk1, I really liked it. But yes the tax was a killer☹️

I like that, shame no photo of it with the top up, so assume it looks awful.

I wonder how much strengthening has gone in

Looking at the shut line of the driver's door compared to the passenger's, not quite enough...

Who has the bottle to save this stunning Rover 75 connoisseur from the track or frag then?

That's lovely. The classic Imprezas are so good to drive too although I'd have to own another turbot if I ever went back down that road.

Do you enjoy everyone assuming you're an arsehole?

I know it's bASe and that it's a wagon. And I also know that it's an awesome car. I also also know that some Subaru owners are normal people, and not the kind that wish it was 1995 and that they could afford an Evo or a Cossie.

But, everyone will assume you're a wanker and treat you as such on the road if you own one - and then the car will dissolve in the first shower.

You really don't. I can't stand the normally aspirated 2ltr engine. It feels gutless but then I was used to a 2ltr twin turbo at that point and it was fitted to a Gen 3 Legacy which is heavier than an Impreza.
