11001010
28 minutes ago, grogee said: New one on me too. I bet it's a fucking Beetle underneath. Taken from here : Albar Sonic was presented to the public in 1982. This was a replacement for the aging Albar Jet, but which had a more futuristic design and rear-wheel drive. The first Sonic models were put on the chassis from Volkswagen Beetle. Equipped with quite strange optics for seven headlights. Offered in a "targa" body. Over time, Sonic has changed. First, they shared a huge optics. That's why it became closed at all. But by the early 90s, there were 4 small headlights left. Also since the mid-1980s, a coupe body has already been offered. The engine ration was also very huge - from 1.3 to 2.8 liters. These were engines from Porsche, Volkswagen and Renault. So the speed was quite different. But the maximum was somewhere around 230 km/h. By the end of the 80s, Albar had abandoned the Volkswagen chassis and began to make a custom chassis, which hit its budget hard. The average dimensions of Sonic were as follows: 4300/2000/1112 (L/w/h) and wheelbase of 2410 mm. But all these innovations and even the film could not bring Sonic into the arena. The model was produced until about 1992, when Albar's debt exceeded its maximum. Then the workshop began to slowly slide into the abyss. inconsistant, grogee and Yoss 2
