We've had that before, and it still looks good.  I'm sure it was cheaper last time though!  I'd love to have a crack at that tbh.  Haven't got eight quid, never mind eight grand.

That particular Montrose is a new one to me. Did you previously know of it?  Two owners from new suggests it's been tucked away I guess.

Much as they're lovely and now stupidly rare, I'm not sure they'll pull three and a half large ones on it.

As an aside, I'm trying to remember which one you own - is it KEO?

That Montrose is lovely.

Have a very early, fairly scruffy base petrol W123.

Given a choice of “£1,650 or best offer” I’d be going for best offer. But it’s MOT exempt, so you can just laugh at the rust.

Also benefits from heavily tinted rear windows in case you have embarrassed in-laws or ugly children.

shame that its listing too one side - and no drips so i think its a hydragas unit failing internally. which is why the car is up for sale?

i think that hydragas cans for one of these are even thinner on the ground than metro ones.

and there are no new ones available for them.....

It could* just need a pump up if it has been a while.

There is a chap who is repairing and regassing hydragas units. Iirc around £100 per displacer.

Yeah theres a dude on FB who gets dead hydragas units, opens them up, fits a new diaphragm in them, re-crimps them with a new clamp ring then re-gasses the top side and paints them up. Looks like he does a cracking job and he travels round the country in an LDV Convoy sorting out hydragas problems for folk. A true shite Hero if you ask me.

It's not like I could have done anything better, but just wacking on a new belt on an interference engine was a bit hopeful...shame...never been welded.

That Corsa B is as fit as fuck.

Here you go though, these are a surefire contender (and probably red hot favourite) for the best looking automatic scooter ever made.
