eBay tat volume 3.

Edit: That Fellatio Pacific has none of the above accoutrements, as the garage has simply used a copy and paste old advert, half arsed garage with a car part exchanged as it was dying one suspects, might be worth £150 to someone as a project car, but not £295 down from £395, you don't just lob a hundred quid off a cheap car UNLESS it is completely Donald Ducked

You could well be right. On the other hand it may be because it's a slightly tatty car that's undesirable to most people and they just want rid. If I wasn't already rammed here I'd take a punt at that price just to save it.

The Magic above now comes up as "no longer available". Probably just as well for Mr Egg and myself, especially as I'm in Margate for work later this week.

9 months MOT, 4 new tyres, £400. You cannot go wrong. Shame I don't need a car.

Looks alright does that. I've always had a soft spot for the smiley faced Corolla. Amazing what's available for next to nothing these days. I can remember when that sort of money would only buy a rust-ridden relic on its last legs. Shame I don't need a car either.

The prospect of selling my newer version, buying this and then having £££ for tasty Christmas present is appealing.

From the background in the picture, aren't they the boys that like to put absurd predicted future values in their eBay ads?

So, £20,000 in 10 years time?

this looks like it was a really, really nice metro, before some bell-end pulled the engine out (cos 1275) and then has listed the remains for what he paid for the whole, fully functioning car.

bastard, or, from the username, CUNTington......

Cor blimey, that's a bit brutal ain't it? It's a prime candidate now for something massive to be shoehorned in to do it justice.

Am I the only person that immediately thinks of Nissan Cedric estates whenever I see Frida Kahlo ?post-17414-0-92173300-1546253588_thumb.jpeg

Heidel_Kakao ; Early 20th century feminist surrealist, fond of a self portrait.

Frida Kahlo; Early 21st century epic collectionist, fond of a big estate car.

Anyone near this that could have a look? And if ok hold onto it for a week or so?

I'm in Portsmouth and can hold it for a while, sadly no time to inspect though.

Good job that Tranny has that little step at the back.   Stops it tipping up when you load up the bed....

You do realise that in many countries, India, Sri Lanka at least, moving your head left to right and back actually means yes? And up and down means no ?

Expect to see this in Stockport shortly then ?

 No.

25k minus a bit of haggling for a straight, genuine '66 A-code, is not too much.

Rebuilt Engine & Transmission With Receipts

Sadly this is not the case. The truth is rather, that the engine has been messed with, by using non authentic components:

Because of this senseless and completely idiotic act of vandalism of a rare and desirable motorcar, I'd pay no more than half the asking price.

Are the mods period though? I don't know enough about these.

That's nothing to what Septics do to classic Minis. They wouldn't know a correctly detailed Cooper S if it ran them over. A mate sold a lovely 1961 Mini Countryman out there once complete with a Shorrock supercharged 850, all done correctly. This, once Stateside y'all, was removed and replaced with some 1380 cc abortion of an A Plus Metro engine, gear lever hole cut in the floor etc. Fucking criminals. But they don't know any better. They put Man on the moon yet will put a Union Jack roof on a '62 Cooper.
