Removing all the tat provides a perfect opportunity to respray it in beige, no?

Are you saying "Do paint"?!

I bet this used to be a really nice car.

It looks like it's kept on one of those 'estates' for gypsies who don't want to be travellers and stay in one place, so if you didn't like it you might end up getting stabbed and locked up in a shed for 20yrs or something (other sweeping generalisations of the travelling community are available).

For sale my r9 gts fitted with a 1.6 renault megane engine. Car needs a little tlc, couple of the arches have started rusting and will probably need some light welding to get it through an mot.

Car starts, runs and drives great, though has no mot.

Engine 1.6 with webber carb and facit fuel pump.

Gearbox is from a r21, with a r5gtt flywheel and clutch.

Lower rear beam and mk1 golf coilovers.

Wheels r19 16v turbines.

Being sold by a Good Egg. Not a traveller camp in fact, but a brilliant huge unit filled with cool stuff. The green one is really sexy but probably too much work for somebody like me to sort out. I don't think it's rusty though, I hope somebody takes it on as a going concern. I think he's probably got all the bits for a manual conversation if you were that way inclined

I love the Irish. I love the culture, the women, the drink, the craic (whatever that is) that tiger thing they had going 20 years ago and - more than anything - I love their unwavering commitment to the saloon car.

The number plate describes the sound I made when I saw it.

Wow that Clio is nice! Shame its not white or brick red or some other dismal flat colour though.

£55,000 for a £600 van with what appears to be £20's worth of spaghetti wiring and just assorted old crap thrown in/on it

Look at the pissing state of it. Looks like a 1960's wardrobe with an Allegro choke cable and a Pifco fan stolen from the top of his local VG shop in 1974.

Apologies for bringing this hunk of junk to the fore but I'm genuinely intrigued. Is there any chance the seller isn't familiar with £sterling, it's almost impossible to imagine that anybody could think it's worth £55,000, there aren't even the facilities to make a cup of tea FFS. Even if there were I wouldn't dare use them, looking at the state of the wiring.

Be like Mr Bollox but a tad newer with this Renault badged Dodge50 horse box needing an unspecified fix to the engine. Looks a decent thing from the 2 pics!

Its at a mechanics in Dorking, if anybody is seriously interested I could go and report on how crispy or not it is.

I also know a yard (near Dorking) who also does repairs, where there are a couple more dodge's
