Why do people not even try to start these cars? Previous owner says engine turns apparently. Get a battery, put some fresh petrol in a give it a good go? Why is it all so mysterious?

Because the modern brain can't be arsed cope with these things?

No photos but this Rover 75 CDT Tourer in Slough has no bids and 4 hours to go, lowest bid 216.90.

A bit of base 64 decoding reveals the reg to be HS02AVD, MoT history not too bad, ticket until June 2019 - ideal WBOD

If it wasn't for my empty bank account and payday not happening until next week, I'd be putting in a cheeky bid right now

Hope someone here GIB

Someone got a bargain there. £274!

Maybe, although I enquired about it a few days ago and was told it was sold

For fuck's sake.

I've not bought a car for about three weeks now. I also have an insurance policy sitting on a car which is garaged and SORN.

Damn you.

EDIT - Electronic mail deployed, please be sold.

I was trying to talk my brother into some kind of shared equity arrangement for that Volvo 940, blissfully I think it's sold.

I already have one large, thirsty Swedish estate and as much as I like it, I don't need another.

Some fascinating* facts for you:

1) I was working across the road from where this bus is based the other week.

2) The spot where the photograph was taken was the exact bastarding place I got a puncture on the way back to the station after a 50 mile bike ride

£999/submit best offer. That's pretty good really, the bed must be worth a few bob and you could export the rest.

Stupid & Co are on holiday this week, so have a picture of Terry Wogan in the midst of an argument with Alan Partridge's secretary Lynn on the side of a van, and also Cilla Black being attacked by a giant really angry moth.

I’m sure that car (or certainly one very similar) belongs to a PistonHeads forum user, there was a thread in the readers rides featuring a very similar looking example

I’ve seen that around work a fair bit.

“Make me an I don’t know what it’s worth , don’t waste my time “ looks like a recipe for offence.

What's the general consensus on what that CF is actually worth? Seller says he doesn't know so who does? I'd have it (long held ambition) but in reality I'm a fucking dreamer and potential divorcee if I fetched that home

Really hard to say, probably £1,500-£2,000 at a guess. That said he's probably never going to sell it as you can bet your last quid he wants a stupid amount for it.

Nearly went for a petrol swb earlier this year but it sold, that was £2500 which I reckoned was fair (transits). Where else is a diesel lwb twin wheeler going to turn up though
