Jeezers, give us a fucking BREAK!

Okay, now we have the utmost important bid out of the way.

The Mercedes-Benz W114 and W115 models are a series of executive sedans and coupés introduced in 1968 by Mercedes-Benz, manufactured through model year up to 1976, and distinguished in the marketplace by names relating to their engine size.

W114 models featured six-cylinder engines and were marketed as the 230, 250, and 280, while W115 models featured four-cylinder engines and were marketed as the 200, 220, 230, and 240.

I give up.

You know when you go to an elderly relative's and she offers you a dull, square chocolate out of her favourite box of similar looking ones?   You take one, but think "meh"

Only when you bite into it, however,  does the true lushness make itself known.....

How much! My top guess was a third of the asking price.

Yes, it should have gone into the bargains thread and obviously the current seller* isn't keen on selling.

But just bloody look at it.

Mind you, I'd not have installed the fed spec side markers when restoring it.

Not eBay, but as roadside car sales go it's pretty special.
