Oh wow a 505, and it's only done 100k. Barely run in as they say. Doesn't have a valid MOT, despite what the seller is saying...in fact it failed one three days ago. Wonder how it did:

It should be of little surprise considering the previous MOTs mentioning heavy rust and weld repairs over the years. I was half tempted myself but one diesel Peugeot is enough. I also didn't realise how much I hate the 505 dashboard.

This was relisted. Seller mentions high idle in park and an air leak. I assume those are connected.

Also says low mileage is correct. Aren't the odometers known for under reading or just breaking? Previous MOTs suggest rotten.

Probably fucked, but useful source of spares

I'd be surprised if it is a manual, as virtually all the non-turbo GTis sold in Britain were automatic. Very salty price for a non-runner, though, and that roof skin has definitely had it.

£500 may be the going rate for a rough one, but this one isn't going and has bits missing. There are better ones available for less than it would cost to get this one up and running.
