Seller has a fucked Coupe for sale as well.

Another one from the James Hull sale. I think I am way out on my classic values now as I thought they did well to make as much as they did with a lot of poor quality vehicles, but everyone appearing on ebay is making a profit. This sold for £800.

Ring Ring - Ring Ring

"Hello?"

"Hi I want to buy Cars"

"This is good. I am selling CARS"

"Good. I enjoy cars"

  • side seals need attention
  • hard to open doors

Probably why the doors are hard to open.

The side mounted Seals were never a popular option with RR buyers partly down to the expense of buying fish to feed them and partly due to the door opening issues.

Emerald Green from the Emerald Isle:

I caution you against reading the ad, but here are a few choice snippets.

A far cry from the sit up and beg Pops and the 100E range, both of which were still chugging along with three-speed sidevalve engines.

But this is 3 speed.

These early 50s Consuls are a mega rare sight nowadays. In fact, come to think of it, back in the sixties when the Mark 2 was firmly established, you hardly ever saw one of these old girls on the road.

A crass generalisation.

She drives really smoothly and her three-speed column change (three on the tree as it was known) is precise and clicks in and out. Unlike so many BMC vehicles of the day when it was like waving a stick around inside a box of marbles in order to locate the correct gear!

But at least BMC had oldfangled 4 speeds.

Oh, the ignition light stayed on during my ten mile drive and I'm not sure why.

Is that fact or another fictive delusion of your mind? I think that's enough, this is making me nauseous.

No pictures yet, but how far even is Burton from other bits of Derbyshire?

It's Halfway between Derby and Sutton Coldfield just off the A38 and I know people who commute from Wolverhampton to Derby daily, so not Exactly very far from anywhere.

For someone going to view from Chester, I'd suggest junction 15 of the M6, Follow the A500 and A50 to Utttoxiceter and beyond, Turn Right at TOYOTA and it's about 10 mins down the A38

Oh yes, would. Broken grille not withstanding.

Which engine size? Wiki suggests 90bhp 1.6

35 mins on the RER from the Gare du Nord.

You Should buy it. Someone should buy it.

Tips: the Grill is a CDi grill

The seats are the same as a convertible and the worn drivers seat might be replaced by a RHD convertible passenger seat.

Over on www.mk2cav.com they'll be coming all night

There's a bloke on there called John Edwards (Rabbit to his mates) who has a 1.8GTe with the 1.8e 8V astra gte engine in black as a 2 door. There's probably no more than 2 or 3  x 2 doors in the UK.
