There's a big mod* scene for the 306 TD. To be fair cheap ones are still quite readily available. It's just the ones with actual DTurbo badging that have gone a bit mental.

 

 

*No smoke no poke crew with their turned pumps....

Oh aye! I still remember those guys from back when I owned 306s and was on the forums for them.

 

Some of them were quite mental. I remember one was running a turbo off a 7.5t cargo truck!

There cracking motors as well, That one probably is towards the top of a good normal 306 pricewise, but really if it is mint a grand is pretty cheap. The gti 6's are I reckon undervalued. There a seriously good drive.

This has been for sale on my road for weeks. Looks a tad scruffy but £350 seems cheap enough and I would bet they'd take an offer as it isn't moving.

 

MOT history looks a tad iffy mind, around 100k on it, it's had a shunt at some point as the front bumper is stitched up in places and there's mention of wonky, insecure headlights.
