A 37 year old Alfa with a V8 engine, what could possibly go wrong?

I could suggest anything made by Magneti Marelli or Spica.....

I can't link photos from phone but the ACA Fiat Strada is now up for sale on ebay.

Was every single fugging car in that auction bought to flog on for a quick profit?

No way that Strada is worth £1800. Reckon it'll be a fixture on eBay for some time to come...

Now someone is going to BIN for the full whack and make me look like a tit.

I hate idiots like that guy with the 305, is he expecting some sort of auction to just spontaneously happen for his low-value 80’s diesel estate car that needs a bit of work? Its not a flipping 250 GTO FFS. If you want to auction it, stick it in a bastard auction or up on the bay, you fat-handed seagull murderer. How is any deal supposed to happen when you don’t know how much the flipping price is or even any date for when you and others have to ‘bid’ by? Ridiculous, I can only assume the guy is just shit thick and has not considered how a sale might actually take place.

WHS. People like that are annoying to reason with.

Seller: 'Oh, I don't know what it's worth.'

Potential Buyer: '£250?'

Seller : 'OH MY GOD THAT'S SUCH AN INSULT THESE ARE SO RAER AND VALUABLE THERE'S ONLY -.12093223 LEFT ON HOWMANYLEFT'S MADE UP COCK AND BULL DATABASE'

PB: '£260?'

Seller : 'OH WELL THE INTERIOR'S PERFECT SO THAT'S GOT TO BE WORTH AT LEAST £4000'

PB: 'So you do know what you want for it.'

The interior of mine's better anyway, and it's an S5 so it's RAERER than his. And I bought my 'unusual and rare' 305 estate on eBay after a flurry of 3 bids for £206. I was pissed.

Not sure why the surprise that people buy classics at auction to flog on for profit. I thought that's why auctions existed? My old Westminster was bought by someone at ACA looking to make a few quid.

SWAP OR P/EX

GOOD NUMBER PLATE IF YOUR NAMES JOHN (((J383NHS))))

Or even better if your name is J383 NHS.

Made £1040. Not the engine I'd want, but the bodywork (& the availability of 3.9 V8s from crusty Rangies) makes up for it. Looks like this is the time of year for buying up some tidy old chod.

Doctor-ise that in June and watch it fetch twice as much.

Im glad i didnt see that SD1 before auction end. I love it, its ten minutes away from me and it was cheap. I however would have been bankrupted by it so im glad not to have known!

Oooooooh. I think I need to get the Kleenex out for that.

This thing looks seriously home brew.

In the ten or so years that I've regularly seen this, I think I've only seen it move once. So 'parked up since June' is a lot of shite, it used to sit outside a used car dealer in Glasgow since about 2008...

...My dad bought a Volvo 340 from him once.

On the subject of Volvos...

Which kind of enthusiast is that? Enthusiastic rag and bone man, perhaps?

Norris Marina 1.3 AUTO.

From memory, the Mk1 Marinas with that front end style (horizontal colour-coded bar grille) were 1.8 litre.

I think 1.3's had a vertical centre rib and all Mk 2's had the 1.8 style bar but aluminium, not colour-coded.

I could be wrong though :)
