Speaking of Junkman style...

dry stored

That's a shitload better than restored.

be a shame in my opinion to restore this as its only original once

I like people who have their own opinion.

The registration is the original reg number and sadly sorry to say its transferrable, [no idea why people do this, it ruins things just to line peoples pockets...sad].

I must meet this man.

Oh, and I want that car!

Jesus, that Ro80 soft top is horrific

This sentence makes me want to kick the vendor in the plums.

"This car is a one of a kind - literally! The NSU Ro80 was never made as a convertible 2 door model - this car has been professionally converted to create a totally unique vehicle. As far as I know there are 5 of these in the world“

FFS! One of a kind, totally unique (AAARRRGGGHHHH! It is either unique or it isn't!) and there are 5 of them .

The Metro is a super-mini that was produced by Austin, and, later, Rover. It was launched in 1980 as the Austin mini-metro. It was intended to...

Total words in listing: 724

Words pertaining to the actual car for sale: 65

That's 91% IRRELEVANCE

(and that's being very generous, considering those 65 "relevant" words contain a lot of nonsense about what an "excellent investment" it is. For some reason he lists one and only one of the cars features - "heated rear screen")

Weirdly it was destroyed as late as 1991, when these have already long been coveted classics.

The Internet has been modifying itself so that my 8 year old browser can't correctly display more and more pages. Autoscout is the latest culprit.

Probably obvious why I might have been browsing Gamma Coupe ads. This is the only ad that displays correctly.

Even this doesn't put me off.  Most Italian market Gammas are 2 litres which must spoil the drive somewhat compared to the mighty 2500.

Until now I didn't know there had been a '90s Gamma Coupe. Not in the same class IMHO, but here's one for little more than the garden find above.

Why, I wonder, is everyone on the Forum hitting the internet 24/7 to search for Lancia Gammas, eh?   Has a Seismic event occurred?

This Streetwise looks quite good, its a 1.8 Stepspeed effort which must be quite rare. Predictably the gearbox is knackered now, and they were shite when new anyway. I wondered how easy it would be to do a manual conversion on it. Googling the MG Rover forums finds lots of wondering and guessing but no real answers.

If this could be squshed downwards a few inches it might look quite convincing I suppose.

Volvo 262C

cp5433901673317851511.jpg?aspect=FitWith

This Volvo has been for sale for at least 3 years and has slowly been dropping in price. Started at 10 grand but quickly dropped to $7900 and has slowly crept down to $4800 where it has been for the last year or so. If the price drops again I will be there, cash in hand, at the drop of a hat.
