Jesus Wept. There should be some law against clueless, classless, knuckleheads getting hold of this sort of thing.

poor little Mini, all of that "scene" crap wants throwing into the sea!

just think how much better that little 850 would look like if it was how BL had intended it to be....

still it does look like most of that crap would just "unfasten"?

Interestingly* those aren't 2cv hubcaps. The car looks ok from the photos too- sills and doors and no obvious deformation of the a panels. Bonnet hinge needs doing though which will probably be £1000 by the time other stuff has been noticed too.

i it as nice as it looks?

I'd say it's a 10 yards car, up close it's not perfect, but is reasonable. i just hope he's removed the Minions seat covers

now, i think this looks ok, its no match of course for the real thing, BUT this is what, less than half what a real (and ropy) one would cost.

and considering how crap most kit cars are, this looks really nice

Bloody hall an ex Whippy Commer BF. I know someone who's spunked about £75k restoring an ex Softee example. That looks rough as arseholes, not a £10k van in that state

I'll let you read the rest, there's about a month's worth of useable quotes in a very short write up.

Oooft, local to me too! Good job it wasn't there a week or two ago.

I wasn't sure if you'd been to see this or not.

I think you made the right choice
