If they get £6,500 for that mobile pile of scrap Lego, not only will I show my arse in Burton's window, I'll wrap my bollocks in gold foil, coat my purple headed womb broom with Ferrero Rocher chocolate and invite Prince Charles's daughter-in-law to lick it off at Ascot next year.

That Lancia is lovely but it seems like a lot of money given it's pretty fucked. I doubt you could buy it and restore it properly for less than what you could just go out and buy a nice one for.

Image trying to spell out that FIat's name to your insurance company.

Wowsers those Lancia's are lovely. The bottom one looks significantly less wobby than the top one.

I dunno, I reckon £50k would get it up to scratch and you'd still have a comparatively 'cheap' one at the end of it.

I'll probably end up spending as much on my Model A as a 'good' one costs, but I couldn't stretch to a £15,000 one off payment. At least buying a project you can spread the cost out over a couple of years or whatever* and end up with the car you actually want instead of one built to somebody else's taste

* in one year I have spent £0 and made zero progress on that heap, so maybe not a great plan after al

I bet all that steel and aluminium rubbing against each other for 50 years would make it horrible to restore.

You still need time patience and deep pockets to take on a 50 grand resto on a 30 grand car you can currently buy restored for 75 grand. I can understand why someone would do it but it'd need to be a labour of love. It's not a bargain.

I've been gradually increasing the value of my cortina by welding more pig iron onto it  year by year gradually increasing it's final weigh in value.

£35k for a 3 series in Septic shite spec? How much coke has he been snorting? £3,495 would be too strong for that, and KGF, oh deary me< I bet if you went near that Metro with a magnet it wouldn't stick to quite a lot of the body, and for the money they are asking, mileage would need to be under 10k.

Anyway, have a look at this beige beast on the Oile of Woight, sexual

Ooh I'm going back home to the island on the 18th. There are alot of old cars over there

It looks oddly familiar.

Didn't somebody from here travel a few hundred miles to view it and it turned out to be a heap of shit? Or was that another beige A-reg Mitsubishi camper?

Don't know who it was but I think that was a 'coachbuilt'
