That vel satis does look nice. I went to a Renault test day at wakenhurst place in 2003 and drove one. It had 200miles on the clock and was like a spaceship ( and I went in my CX!). I remember thinking it would be a fantastic buy until the warranty ended!

Oh my me.  If that's still for sale come payday (unlikely I appreciate) I might find myself doing something silly.

 

Let's face it, 500 notes isn't that silly any more.  It's a fancy wing mirror on a modern Volvo.

 

Just look how comfy it is, and the tow bar means you(we) could even trailer a spare car with it in case you(we) have to get home another way

 

It could also resurrect the AS Loan Car scheme.  Argentas and Y10 aren't nearly as comfy as this!  Phact.

look at this unmolested little gem, looking every bit as it did when it came off the line back in 1972.

 

there was a time when all mini's looked like this. i want it so very, very much.

 

its £5k, which is a lot of money, but not that much for a Mini. Which seem to sell for CRAZY money!!

its even got its original sales invoice and other old bills etc. something i always like to see with a car if possible.

I bet these big petrol v6 Vel Sausages are great. Well worth 500 quid even if you get a few months out of it before you get in one morning and it's rewired itself and thinks it's a toaster.
