The cheapest roadworthy SD3 I've seen in quite some time... Someone on here MUST save it !!!

That went for £215   Total bargain.

Bloody hell ! I had sold my old one for significantly more, and it had needed most of the floorpan and sills replacing !

This car was up for £150 with no mot for months and  months, needs a screen. This chap has had it mot'd and back on the road. Bit of a shame he only got the £215 for it, but its a real bargain. Love these cars.

Verdict: GIB, ffs!

I may or may not have had conversations with the owner about this car.

Whether or not they'll listen on price is another matter.  In a previous life, I was a relatively successful Estate Agent so enjoy a good bit of negotiation.  However, some people just won't listen.

I think, psychologically, they are likely to have a mental block with any price that's just three figures long.  Is it far too much at £1000?  Dunno.

pls respond

I didn't realise Ford sold those mustangs here as legit RHD cars.

Giddy power outputs. A 2.0 capri was putting out more power than the 3.3 mustang.

1981 Horsepower Torque 0-60 1/4 Mile

2.3L 2V 88 @ 4,800 rpm 118 @ 2,800 rpm n/a n/a

3.3L 1V 6cyl 91 @ 3,800 rpm 160 @ 1,600 rpm n/a n/a

4.2L 2V V-8 115 hp @3,400 rpm 195 @ 2,200 rpm 11.20* 18.10 @ 77 mph

Does the GANGBO come with the car?

PS:   I knew that car was in Birmingham (AKA Rhyl without all the high culture and civilised values) even before clicking the link.

91 BHP from 3.3 litres.  The "automatic speed control" appears to be, er, the engine.

They only sold them here in '82, quietly withdrawn after disappointing sales. The six pot is the same motor they put in the original 60s stang, you can do quite a bit to improve it with better breathing, carb, headers, even turbo it if you want, they are strong reliable engines. If I had the space I'd be all over that white one. I reckon Fox mustangs are the next big thing, they're already worth more in the U.S than they are here.

I checked up on the performance figures- quick they're not. 0-60 13 secs, 106 mph top whack. They were totally set up for economy back then and nothing else!

Shit photos but this looks cheap for a face lift (aluminium?) one of these.

So the driver's door doesn't open, there's a "slight" dent in the back door, and it looks like the steering wheel would give you Cholera.  Apart from that, perfect.
