Been offered a good 'second chance' on this at £225, its in Liverpool

Its a club SE spec, says its a 2.5 but its actually a 2.0 V6 manual. Nice colour, all up and runing and roadworthy, low miles and good MOT history, I would like it but what TF to do with it?

Auction with £1,300 BIN. 

 

Needs leaking brake cylinder replacing and a bit of welding for an MOT, but the MOT only just expired and it's had nary an advisory since 2005. It also comes with a veritable autojumble's worth of spares.

Cheap enough to have as an 'occasional' car to whazz about in? I'd get his number and try and get it for £180, telling him it'll cost him £40 odd for the fees if he sells through eBay.

£300 Facebook car is shit.

 

 

Why is it whenever some moron buys a car/iPhone 7/200 L&B off Facebook and something goes wrong (Because they were too fucking stupid to check it over) they always says 'OMG I AVE GOT KIDS AN ITS A DEAF TRAP. BEEN RIPED OF' etc.

Genuinely surprised some of these people can breathe in and out without being told to.

Their own description of the current S Class is "full size luxury saloon" - Whether you like the seats, driven wheels or anything else is immaterial, if they position it as a luxury car (which it clearly is to most open-minded folks likely to actually buy one), they're in the luxury car market.

Rolls Royce makes luxurious cars. Not sure about Bentley these days.

Decided to give this a swerve, its nice but I already have a 2.0V6 and i really want one with a mental interior so I am gonna keep on scanning.

The S-Class is still meant to be the best luxury car out there made by a volume manufacturer.  I think some folks idea of luxury is a horsey horseless with the hood up rather than down.

Runs and drives superb.... though has a slight misfire...

Bodywork is all very good and straight with only the odd tiny blemish and rust spot and couple of small dents.. LEFT REAR DOOR IS DENTED...BUT VERY GOOD SPARE DOOR INCLUDED IN SALE.


So the bodywork is far from being all very good and straight.
 

Has had a couple of paint touch ups AND IF I WAS TO BE CRITICAL PAINTWORK IS SLIGHTLY POOR.

 
So it does not only have the odd tiny blemish and rust spot and couple of small dents.
 
Why do these people not notice how full of shit they are?
