Enticingly cheap Jag.  A proper one, too, not a Mondeo in drag.

Christ, I am sat here itching to put a bid in on that, just got a quote for classic insurance, came out at 250 quid. But then there's the 300 quid tax and the fact that my wife and mum would kill me, and the fact that I can't realistically attempt any of the MOT advisories on the road outside my house (it won't fit in my garage, and there's a sorned Eunos Roadster in there already).

If anyone reads this between now and 6.40am when the auction ends and fancies it, I'll quite happily pick it up and deliver it to you as long as you buy me a megabus ticket home again and cover any other costs, just for the lolz. I can get a bus to Orpington from the end of my road, and have plenty of time on my hands. If you insure it I have third party 'driving other cars' cover on mine which should suffice.

Edit: or could roffle it, I guess.

Cheap petrol Midi with a bit of test in Telford.  What a shame Billy isn't looking for a van any more.

RE: WUVVUM's CHEAPO GREEN JAG

I'm the high bidder at £230, couldn't resist it. My maximum bid is £253.23. If anyone else on here wants it don't outbid me if I'm still the high bidder when you see it, I will quite happily step aside, I will probably end up offering it here or roffling anyway. Obviously if the current bid is more than £253.23 then someone has outbid me and you can bid away, I am going to bed now and will find out in the morning if I'm a jag owner or not!

Aaaarrrrggghh. If I was not already going to look at a 75 this morning I'd have a bid on that. I value my nuts too much to buy two cars today without the wife's knowledge.

Seems a bargain for £230 and still at that price as I type with just over an hour to go.

Looks a bargain if you get it. And I'll have a couple in the raffle

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and all that, but it looks like you were sniped with 15 seconds left.  Shame!

Probably a lucky escape! I'll keep an eye out for second chance emails. Couldn't let it go for under 200, but I'm not really upset that someone else wanted it more than me, enough to get up for a snipe at 6.40 on a Sunday morning! Dangerous though, now I know that I can tax and insure one for a monkey...

I think we've had this UMM, but it's worth the repost. It used to live on a fairly busy road in Plymouth parked in the street, might even be in the lazy spotters from a few years back. Owner sounds like a beard and also had a LR forward-control and some other interesting bits and bobs.
