EXTERIOR IS TIDY. THERE IS LACQUER PEAL

 

So it isn't tidy.

 

 

MECHANICALLY IT STARTS AND RUNS WELL, AND DRIVES FINE TOO.

WILL NEED TRAILERING AWAY. V5 KEYS AND OLD BILLS ETC HER

 

If it drives fine, then why does it need to be trailered away?

 

 

THE ALLOYS SHOWN WILL BE REMOVED AND STEELS FITTED.

poorly sick monty in BEIGE (mostly) with borked ignition/carb control unit thing....

 

god alone knows where (if?) you will find another one of those. lets face it, they weren't the most reliable thing even when new!

 

be a shame to see it get fragged, though i can see that been its fate.

Those primitive ECUs are easy to take apart. The circuit board is (unbelievably) single sided on a bonded paper matrix, ie the cheapest possible material and completely insuitable for use in a car.

I once fixed the exact same sympyoms the seller describes just by re-soldering all of the joints on this pcb.

this is lovely looking little mini, i wonder how easy it would be for the guy at the local body shop to match some paint up for the roof?

 

i have got now an irrational desire paint all mini roofs body coloured unless the car left longbridge with a white/silver/black roof when new.

Call me a picky fucker but I like my Austin Allegros with a starting bid of £1500 to be all one colour. Or are the prices of these now so far through the roof that anything that runs and drives is £1000+?
