Into it. Are these variated? I imagine trying to tune the clutch on a single speed one of those with a revvy cylinder and pipe would be a fuckin 'mare

Bet you could sort the paperwork and the non-running by contacting Tim bishop. IIRC he was the one who sorted the injection system out for these.

And probably a lot easier as most local offices no longer exist, well unless you live next door to the DVLA in Swansea

That two-tone Celica is gorgeous, loving the brown hues.  Should fetch a bit would have thought.  I had a 2.0 Auto one of these and it went like the proverbial shit of a shovel.  My last memory of it is taking Mrs_Carlo to the hospital in the back seat, in labour.  We never had a coupe again.

And yes, this is the only pic.

All nova and tax paid, ready for  registration.

Yeah, you and the car might be, but I bet you anything the DVLA isn't.

the whole thing drives real nice apart from the brakes which will want adjusting/ looking at.

I know it's hard to believe, but the brakes really are that shit on these, no matter what you try.

The interior as with most of these  ,been sitting in the sun, original Californian cars will need looking at

I tried that before, but no matter how long and hard I looked at it, it didn't get better.

Get the girlfriend/ wife to go on trimming course, would pay dividends

You are obviously single and have little or no experience with the oposite sex.

I've driven one of them with the plus pack and it was fucking terrifying . My brain can't process the information when a car is accelerating that fast.

This seems cheap for 450bhp twin turbo v8 - basically a supercar with a boot

Holy Moley! £4200 for a cambelt, discs+pads, alternator and labour.

Holy Moley, almost 700 quid VAT on a 3,500 bill! Why does nobody realise the insantity of that?

Regarding the Austin Maestro, they could make it talk but not start without a choke?
